I used to plant orange and lemon pips, and they never grew up (a bit like me). I didn’t look like Harry Potter back then, and I didn’t start wearing glasses until 1993 anyway.

Andy Whitman has a very good look at the life of Jerry Falwell, and it is either the best or the second best I’ve read thus far (the other would belong to Leonard Pitts Jr.).

I really can’t say much about him. I won’t miss him, and I think he harmed Christianity in the U.S., but to be cold to someone else’s passing… doesn’t seem quite right, even if he did damage the Church. Probably pray for mercy for soul (even if it was tainted); it’s all we would want for ourselves.

“The whole modern world has divided itself into Conservatives and Progressives. The business of Progressives is to go on making mistakes. The business of the Conservatives is to prevent the mistakes from being corrected.”

The Queen and Eucharisto both tied with 22 correct names, so then I had to go to tie-breaker and the Queen won. For his finish, he will get a Trabant U2 style with a Fly at the wheel made out of paper.

The Queen will get Edge with the Explorer guitar.

The Gibson Explorer is guitar heard on early U2 albums and can be heard on songs like “Out of Control” and “I Will Follow.” Edge decided that if U2 were to have an unique sound, then he would need to play an unique guitar. The Explorer has made a comeback in recent times and is featured on the song “Beautiful Day.”

Just so the Queen Mum won’t feel so inclined to “help out” in future contests, she’ll be receiving the Larry Mullen Jr. in Drag paper doll. Hope it was fun.
