Video list part two

I’m back with this list-making thing, and I’ll start this thing with Thom Yorke playing “Videotape.”

And moving onto Feist’s “My Moon My Man”

Feel free to suggest other videos that you’ve enjoyed this , new or old. Now, I’ll add songs that I really enjoyed this year, some are old, and some are new covers of older songs.

Starting with The Clash’s “London Calling”

And progress to David Bazan’s (aka Pedro the Lion) “Secret of the Easy Yoke”

Then move further on from that weight to more stellar dimensions with David Gilmour (of Pink Floyd) performing “Astronomy Domine”

In an attempt not to be boring, while also trying to destroy your computers, I present Silent Shroud presents the songs of 2007 from Youtube.

Some songs are new, while others I heard for the first time this year.

Starting with the obvious one

U2 Windows in the Sky

Both Bruce Springsteen and Arcade Fire released stellar albums this year, and so here’s the two of them together for “Keep the Car Running”

Here’s a video of Wilco’s “Impossible Germany” which features what probably is my favorite guitar solo of the year

Best 3 dollars I ever spent were spent on Radiohead’s In Rainbows. If you see me with earphones implanted to my skull I’m probably listening to them. Here’s “Reckoner,” a terrific atmospheric song full of streetlights and low level clouds and lyrics of a (profound sounding critical word, you know something Overstreet might use) nature.

Youtube is a fantastic site. Its democratic (not the party), but sometimes its closer to anarchy .

I was on yt because I was reading about people who are racists and oppose immigration, and I followed a link tat led to a video of a woman wo said te vilest tins about Mexican men, simply because they are Mexican. Se equated all Mexican men wit rapists and molesters of kids.. I looked down at te comments and saw many racist and unsourced comments coming from a particular poster, so I followed that link and looked at friends and tis led to a whole ring of racists.

I looked at one video a member favorited, and it was a video clip of a Nazi marc tat finised wit tat cockroac speakin. I feel sick. Anoter video is called The Glory of National Socialist Deutschland
